Oh wow this story was a very intense story. I didn't know where or what was going to happen there. Todd had to go to Paris to find this terrorist that is a Muslim that stole all these weapons from Paris . It was so interesting how Todd and his partner had to go and find this guy and he couldn't tell his wife penny what was going on because this was a very secret assignment. Yes if I was penny I would be curious what is going on. I was so glad that at the end Todd and his partner found the terrorist and they had to make a choice to kill him to get info from him and make sure that guy wasn't going to say anything. The mission had to be fulfilled and my hopes of a reunion with Penny would be imminent. This was a cliff hanger with a ending that wouldn't displease.Product details

Todd, having retired and married the love of his life, Penny, voluntarily emerges again from Protective Service retirement to track down and kill a killer. But quietly. (How Todd tells Penny she can't come with him, and Penny's reaction, was alone worth the $2.99 to buy this story.)
The guy Todd is looking for has killed his commanding officer in Djibouti, cleaned out the Legion's armory, and fled. This story, with its technical twists and bits of Intelligence history, reads plausibly. Very.
"To Kill a Killer" is part of a series. That said,I happened to have read the stories in the wrong order and enjoyed them both individually and as part of the series.
Two thumbs up. 5/5 stars.
Once you start these short stories by Harold Strunk, you want to read the rest of the series in one sitting! We follow Todd Crawford right where the last story left off. Readers enjoy getting to know the dynamic characters more in depth and the author once again displays great knowledge of the intelligence agencies, military and regional culture. I, personally, am captivated by the protagonist and always find myself wondering where he will soon be headed to in the world and what bad guy he will eradicate next. This story ends with a major cliff hanger, alluding that there is even more in store for Todd Crawford. I can hardly wait to find out what the ensuing undertaking will be!
The Fourth in the Six part Todd Crawford series - To Kill a Killer - moves forward chronologically. Though, each segment in this series will stand alone, I have enjoyed reading them in order. By this episode, the reader is well acquainted with Crawford's character, grit and giftings. Riveting from the get go, Todd springs to action with smooth style and an expert's confidence as this adventure weaves across three continents. Enjoy!
